Hello from greatminds. We are a small Los Angeles based indie label brought together by and committed to our love of music. We have been an active label for the past three years as Number 3 Records. After reassessing our goals as a label we felt it only right to take on a new name to go with our new ideology. We came up in a time when the beginning of the week meant runs to Aron’s and No Life records to pick up the latest LP, CD, or 7inch that our favorite artist had just put out. It was a time of weekend road trips following our favorite bands, packing our selves in tiny shit hole venues were the walls dripped sweat, as we sang along at the top of our lungs. A time were venues like Jabberjaw, PCH, Macondo, and HB Library felt like the center of the universe. A time that for us never stopped and probably never will. Almost everything in our lives has been shaped by music - from relationships to friends and jobs - music has always lead the way.
